What Causes Delayed Periods With Negative Result In Pregnancy Test?

Hi I am 46 yes old i had filsche clips removed almost two years ago. We have been trying to fall pregnant for about 4 months. I am 6 days late for my period but test neggative to pregnancy on urine tests. Could this be a false neggative i also coukd have a uti thank you

Hi welcome to HCM....

You are having six day late period. .

So it could be false negative as you said ...

Urine Hcg detection card test usually comes positive five week after last LMP...

So you can repeat test after five to six days again for confirmation ..
If you want early result than Blood Hcg detection by RIA can be done which will be positive three week after last LMP...
USG also needs to be done ....

If pregnancy not there than further investigation done according to examination..

For UTI detection urine examination and culture can be done ...
