What Causes Delayed Periods With Abdominal Cramping?

I am wondering if I am pregnant. I m 28 years old, been trying to conceive for 3 months. My period is very regular but now it is 2 days late but I m getting a negative on the home pregnancy tests. I am extremely emotional but I keep getting a cramping feeling like my period could be coming? Is there a chance I am pregnant?

Hello!

Since you have been trying to conceive, i would suggest you to take a urine pregnancy test at home about a week after the missed period, with an early morning sample of urine for accurate results as taking the test early may not detect the hormones in the urine. Early signs of pregancy usually include, missed period, fatigue, weakness, mood swings, frequency of urination, abdominal cramps, etc. The chances of pregnancy could be high as you have been trying to conceive. Hoping the best for you!
