General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The flu can cause muscle and joint pain in different parts of the body.

Severe illness can also affect the period so this may be the cause of the delay though pregnancy should be ruled out if you are sexually active.
Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and can be done 11 to 14 days after possible conception.

If your appetite is decreased then this would affect your bowel movements but if this not the case then you may want to consider the temporary use of laxatives to help.

Rest and fluids are also important. Paracetamol can be used for the pain.

I hope this helps
