What Causes Delayed Periods, Brown Vaginal Spotting And Negative Result In HPT?
I am 2 weeks late for period had light spotting and have had unprotected sex preg test all negative thus far could I still be pregnant I also have thin uterine lining which my physicians seem to think pregnancy is really not the issue but low estrogen levels that are causing this weird spotting which is brown.
Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone. This hormone is normally detectable by day 11 to 14 after conception.
If the pregnancy tests were done by this time then they are accurate. If they were done before this time then they need to be repeated at a later date.
If they are truly negative then it would be the changes that your doctor mentioned that are responsible for the period delay.
I hope this helps
