Faint positive lines occurs due to less HCG hormone present in urine, while the control line appears much bolder. Pregnancy tests check for HCG hormone level in blood or urine. You should re-do the pregnancy test with first urine sample of morning. the morning urine sample contains highest quantity of HCG hormone & therefore you might get normal positive test for pregnancy by it. If your pregnancy test result stills come as faint positive. You should undergo Quantitative test for Beta HCG also known as blood pregnancy test.You could undergo a trans vaginal ultrasound to confirm your pregnancy.
