Hello doc . I didn t have my period this month but I did have cramps at times and backache. I had intercourse in every two to three days this month .So I checked if I was pregnant but the result came negative . Since then I haven t had any intercourse . What moght be the reason behind it ?
Hello daer, In your case most common cause of delayed period is pregnancy But other cause of it are: stress, hormonal imbalance, PCOS, Weight loss, excessive exercise, thyroid disorder. My advise are as below.
1. Repeat the pregnancy test after some days. 2. Also do blood HCG level to confirm pregnancy as it is very sensitive compared to pregnancy detection kit method. 3. Do hormonal check up: Blood, FSH, LH, Progesteron, Estrogen, TSH, T3 and T4 4. Consult with gynecologist and also do ultrasonography, if period will not come. 5. For bak pain and abdominal cramp: Tablet Diclofenac 50 mg There times a day
Hope this may help you. Stay healthy. All the best
