What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Unwanted 72?
Hello
My bf n I had sex on 26 27 and 28 December and on 27 at 1 o clock in da night I took unwanted 72. I hv taken this pill few times before also n I usually get period on the fifth day after taking the pill but this time it's my 7th day n I still did not get my menses..... I has thick white discharge frm last two days but no pain or cramp
I'm extremely worried

Hi,
You had sex on 26th, 27th and 28th December. But it will not protect against intercourse does on 28th December. If you had sex during fertile phase of period then there is chance of pregnancy. Unwanted 72 contain high progesterone and it cause prolongation of luteal phase of cycle and delayed period by 1 to 2 week.
Thick white discharge could be due to side effect of pill, vaginal infection. Vaginal infection should be confirm by vaginal examination and vaginal swab test. It require antibiotic and antifungal suppository.
If period will delayed by more than 2 week from normal expected period date then consult gynecologist for examination, Blood HCG test to confirm pregnancy. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, wash vagina with warm salted water, maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V vaginal plus wash, and drink plenty of water.
