What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Postinor 2?

hello Doctor, I took postinor 2 approximately 2 days after my ovulation date. Now my period is 9 days late from the usual schedule although I have been feeling the usual premenstrual symptoms for about the last 2 weeks. what could be the meaning of this? Am I pregnant?

Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy first. Sometimes, emergency pills can fail also. If test is negative, you can take some medicines like progesterone for inducing periods. It can be due to some stress factor also.
