What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Norethisterone?

I took Norethisterone when I was due my period on the 13/09. My period began on the 21/09 and lasted it s usual time. Since then I have not had a period. I have conducted pregnancy tests all are negative. I m curious as some of the information I have read is conflicting. Some suggest I will return to my usual dates other that my cycle will begin from the beginning of the delayed period. Can you advise please. Thank you.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Norethisterone can cause delay in periods. It can also cause break through bleeding within or after 3 days of stopping it. That is normal and nothing to worry. Get a transvaginal ultrasound examination to know the exact status.
Thanks.
