What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking I-pill?

Hi Docs .. me and my gf had sex 2 weeks before (during the course we didnt used any preventive measures) after having sex the next day she had consumed ipill. Actually her periods was supposed to start by yesterday but till now she didnt get periods so we have tried using pregnency tester and the result was a negetive .. my question is but still even today she didnt get periods .. usually ipill causes early periods right ? So is there anyway she gets to be pregnent ?

I have gone through your query and do understand your concern.
I pill or any other emergency pills are highly effective if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex.
So based on your information, I fell she is less likely to be pregnant.
So now regarding urine pregnancy test, it is advised that UPT should be done after week of missed period and with morning sample of urine.
So I would suggest you to repeat it after week.
If she has not got your period after a week and the test is negative, I would suggest you to see OBG specialist and they may advice her for trans vaginal ultrasound.
