What Causes Delayed Periods After Recovering From Tonsillitis?

Hi doctor., this is Ashel I have a regular cycle , I have periods on 26th of every month and December from 17th I had tonsillitis cold cough and chest congestion n I was put on antibiotics.. But my periods were delayed by 5 days with not much clots.. What can this be? Is this common can period delay because of illness.. I also have few small pimples on my chin
