What Causes Delayed Periods After Receiving A Depo Shot?
Hello my name is Jessica I was taking depo Shot but my last depo shot was this year October 4th and I haven t been back since but I had sex on the day I missed my shot and so on I haven t seen my period yet it s about to be December and I haven t seen anything but I did take an pregnancy test and when to the health department but both came back negative i did think I was pregnant for a while but NOW I just don t know if I am or WHAT
As per your history is concerned your problem can be due to many pathological causes so before proceeding deeply do check following points clearly:
1) Check pregnancy test once again after 7 days of missing periods 2) Check your fasting blood sugar and TSH level 3) Do CBC with differential 4) Do a transvaginal Ultrasound scan to ruled out pathology relates to uterus and Ovary
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
