What Causes Delayed Period And Soreness In Breasts With History Of Tubal Ligation?

I am about a week late on getting my period. My breasts have been extremely sore and have actually started lactating when squeezed a tiny dribble of a milk colored liquid. I had a tubal ligation about 2 years ago. I took an at home pregnancy test the first came out partially showing positive and the second came out negative. Could I really be pregnant?

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.

There is an extremely tiny chance to get pregnancy after tubal ligation that is less than 0.5%. The best shot would be to check your prolactin level that might cause the same symptoms. Some drugs can cause high prolactin. Also hypothyroid states can cause this. Other posibility is a prolactinoma which is a benign tumor in the pitutary gland of the brain.
So start a workup by checking your prolactin level and if that is high and u dont take any medications then thyroid function test.
