What Causes Delayed Menstruation After Mirena IUD Removal?

Hello. I had my mirena iud removed after 4 years. I am trying to conceive. I never had a period while on mirena, only light spotting every month around the same time. I ve had my mirena out for 3 weeks and still no period. Should I be worried and when would be the appropriate time to consult with my obgyn?

I really appreciate your concern, delayed menses and IUD are not related with each other for the history of amenorrhea first pregnancy, menopause, some pathologies need to be ruled out, but most of the time it could be due to hormone changes and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
