What Causes Delayed Healing Of A Wound In A Heroin Addict?

Thank you. I have a question re: Santyl - if someone is a known Heroin addict and has a leg wound that will not heal and is prescribed Santyl for the ulcer treatment and then they apply Santyl to what they called acne or other skin irritations will it leave irritation on those spots or red like circles on those spots due to wrong use of Santyl as Santyl kind of removes the good skin of those areas?
