What Causes Delay In Periods Inspite Of Taking Duphaston Post Miscarriage?
hi dr. i would like to ask you regarding my menstration. i am now 23 days delayed, i took pregnancy test twice and came out negative. i had history of miscarriage two months ago, it was 6weeks in gestation. i went to an ob and she advised me to take duphaston 3 times a day for 5 days. i already finished my medicine yesterday but until now i still dont have my period. is it possible for me to be pregnant now? thank you.
If you have continued trying then pregnancy will of course have to be ruled out. But if you have not had a period since your unfortunate miscarriafe then this is most probably due to that.
Speak to your doctor about duphaston not helping, but only after waiting for a bit longer. Some times it can take more than 5 days for the withdrawal bleed. Be patient and start trying only after your doctor gives you the go.
Best wishes.
