What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Contraceptive Pills?

i have been on mercilon now for two months, the first month my period started on the first day of the inactive tablets, my boyfriend and i do have sex without a condom but i have taken all my pills correctly, however i have missed my period this month (the second month), should i be worried?

I read your question and understand your concern.
Oral contraceptive pills are useful to prevent pregnancy but they are not 100% safe, there are unwanted pregnancies even with oral contracepives. So missing a period primarily may be due to pregnancy or secondarily due to period irregularities, so my advise is to have pregnancy test done to exclude pregnancy, if non pregnant then we will look for other causes of missed periods.
