What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT From Home?

Im trying for baby from last month(i.e. May). In 31st May i hd bleeding which continues for one day, its not like my regular period bleeding. My period date was 3rd June. Though i have no period till today i.e. 4th June. I had done home pregnancy test today which resulted negative. Am I pregnant? Please answer.
