What Causes Delay In Periods And Weight Gain While Taking Deviry?

Hi, i am a 31 year old female with PCOS. I have been trying for pregnancy since last two months. My last period was on 16th october (after taking deviry tablet).I waited till november 26th for my period and then did a pregnancy test which came out negative. Then i took deviry 10mg for 5 days twice a day, as prescribed by my doctor but till today i have not got my period. I am very stressed as to what can be the reason. Kindly help!!Also i have recently gained some 2 kilos . Is it because of deviry tablet??

Hi..Understanding your concern.As per your query,irregular periods and gain in weight,increased appetite,body hair growth etc are commonly seen sign and symptoms of PCOD.In PCOD cyst(fluid filled sacs) are formed in ovary,and also there is some reproductive hormones imbalance.I will advise you to consult your treating gynaecologist about changes in medicines and also if you want to get pregnant.As your PCOD will releive,wait gain and other related symptoms will also resolve.You need not be worried for this.Take care.
