What Causes Delay In Periods And Mild Cramping?

Hi, I was on the depo shot for about 5 years and stopped taking it about 6 months ago. I started having regular periods shortly afterwards (about 4 wowith heavy cramping and bleeding) that occurred around every 25-28 days. Im due for a period and it s not happened yet. I ve had mild cramping the last two weeks and still nothing has happened. Could I be pregnant? Is my body regulated or am I still in the process of reregulating?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear patient,

since the period was almost regular so far for the last 4 months this does't appear to be usual. Pregnancy can be a reason, if you have had any possible contact i recommed running a test. If you were my patient i would also run a vaginal ultrasound to rule out some inflammations of the reproductive organs or other conditions. Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
