What Causes Delay In Menstrual Bleeding When Diagnosed With Pelvic Inflammatory Disease?
Hello, I was recently diagnose with PID a couple months ago, I took the aintobiotics, finished them in about 14 days I took 2 different pills and my pain stopped and now I feel fine, the only thing is that I haven t got my period since before than. I have discharge that s bloody similar to spotting but discharge. I can t be pregnant I have the implant in my arm but I was wondering what could be happening with my body?
The reason for your delayed period could be pelvic inflammatory disease. The infection can delay the menstruation. You can wait for next one week for period to come. If you still don't get period than consult gynecologist for Hormonal profile investigation and detailed pelvic examination.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
