What Causes Deep Throbbing Pain In Thigh And Right Arm?

Hi, I'm a 61 year old female. For the past couple of nights, I'd experience a deep throbbing pain in my thigh and right arm. Odd thing is that it also hit the left side of my body. The pain was not constant, more periodic. I injured my right arm/shoulder years ago and never had it repaired. I don't know if I've re-injured it by recently taking up pool. I did become a bit alarmed when I felt the pain hit my leg. Any thoughts?

Welcome to HCM,
I had gone through history and understand your concern.
As you are having pain in right arm and thigh may be due to muscular problem or nerve problem.
The pain in the right arm may be due to your previous injury which was not treated properly but it is very difficult to identify the causes based on the history.
As you are having some non specific pain, proper evaluation should be done.
The pain may be due to your age related changes in the body.
I Suggest you to undergo evaluation by a doctor.
After the examination it can be determined whether the pain is due to any underlying muscular, neurologic,Vitamin deficiency or otherwise .
Then we can decide what is treatment for your symptoms..
