Dear Mr Rastogi
Welcome to HCM .
Firstly do not worry about the blistering. Normally with a slightly deeper burn the burnt and dead skin tends to blister and peel off as there is fluid collected under. The ointment and tablets will help the healing but may not prevent the already burnt skin from peeling off. Do not peel it by hand on purpose.
The wound will heal in a few days and the redness will reduce. Until then please take the following precautions -
Don't rub over the area. Clean gently with water or mild antiseptic. Don't stick cotton wool directly over the area.
Apply the ointment lightly n cover while travelling without much pressure. Clean atleast once daily
While going to work so not wear right socks/shoes rubbing on the wound.
The wound and the skin needs a week to ten days atleast to heal so do not keep moving or straining the area continuously.
You can switch over to Aloe Vera based antiseptic like aloederm-F for soothing.
For pain and fever take a paracetamol or Brufen or combination with anti inflammatory.
If there is increased discharge/pus/pain / persistent fever not improving recheck with the doctor for dressing and extended antibiotic course.
