What Causes Dark Vaginal Bleeding Inspite Of Having Regular Periods?
I am 23 years old, sexually active, not on any form of birth control except condom ( I am married so no fear of possible pregnancies) this past year my menstral cycle has been longer then usual averaging 45 days up to the past few times as long as 55 days with about 5 days of actual bleeding. Two weeks ago I finished my cycle (last day of bleeding) but last week noticed old blood dark in color spotting. I wasn t concerned but I have been spotting to lightly bleeding for the past week now. It s mostly dark old blood but I have noticed a fair amount is newer and red. It s thicker like a regular period. I haven t changed my diet, sleep, or anything health related and am not going through any stress. During the week I between my last period and the new period I ve had sex with my husband once with condom. Any ideas? Thank you
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it is very common that menses time period goes on changing, color of menses bleeding may also changes and it is most of the time happening due to little hormone changes and it is nothing to worry at all, still if this goes on happening on and often then it may needs some investigations, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
