What Causes Dark Stool While On Probiotics And Potassium Citrate?
Do probiotics cause stool to be a dark brown almost black or sometimes green? My daughter just started taking 1 probiotic twice a day and is noticing this. She also taking potassium citrate 5 meq 2 times a day for kidney stones she always takes these together. She is 15 years old. Thank you !

black or green stool can not be related to probiotic.black is Malena related to digested blood. means there is a source of bleeding in gitract. green is to be related to similar colored food.with probiotic stool co lour will be normal
