What Causes Dark Patches On The Arms That Are Not Painful And Itching?

Hey, i am a 15 year old and i have only just noticed a 1 inch dark brown mark on my wrist on the right arm, it is not itchy and it does not have a bump on it, it is smooth and i am dark skinned so it is darker than my skin colour. Is it something serious or will it disappear if i leave it alone?

Hi

You seem to have developed a pigmented skin scar.
Whenever one develops any kind of injury to the skin, it is the normal skin reaction to heal with some kind of pigmentation.
You should avoid touching or scratching the area as it can further increase the pigmentation .
You need to apply a topical skin lightening agent like kojivit cream over the affected areas twice a day .
You should take a diet rich in fresh fruits and salads especially take citrus fruits.
