Hello and welcome to HCM, Vaginal bleeding is an alarming symptom and it should be investigated. Vaginal bleeding can occur in disorders of cervix, vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes and even ovary. I suggest you to consult your gynaecologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations. Ultrasonographic examination of pelvis, coloposcopic examination of cervix and endometrial biopsy / curretings are required to assess the reproductive tract. A large number of cases varying from inflammation to malignancy can lead to vaginal bleeding.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
