Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your condition can be costochondritis.Pain on palpation of rib area is characteristic.Anyhow it is better to rule out the cardiac cause of it by taking an ECG and X ray chest if needed. For costochondritis i treat my patients with anti inflammatory gels of diclofenac or nimusulide for local application.I also prescribe oral tablets of same drugs for some.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
