Good morning I am Edita , parent of a 5 year old girl..just this january 2016 we have noticed my daughter upon waking up in the morning with crossed eyes and really made me so worried could you advise me what to do before she usually play with her tablet everyday even before sleeping is that one of the reason..pls help me iam very worried..thank you
Hello Edita! Thank you for writing us here. 5 year old is a very young age and its the time to learn and play. She shouldn't be given a tablet all the time its not good for her eyes. She is getting adjusted to close vision and if not improved, she might have week eye muscles and eyesight. You can use lubricants for her eyes like boric acid. An eye drop with the brand name lubristar is available at market. And make sure she doest stay staring at the tablet every time and give her eyes some rest. Regards Dr Gunjan
