General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Edita! Thank you for writing us here.
5 year old is a very young age and its the time to learn and play. She shouldn't be given a tablet all the time its not good for her eyes. She is getting adjusted to close vision and if not improved, she might have week eye muscles and eyesight. You can use lubricants for her eyes like boric acid. An eye drop with the brand name lubristar is available at market. And make sure she doest stay staring at the tablet every time and give her eyes some rest.
Regards
