What Causes Crackling Sound And Painful Knee?

Hi,i m nikesh. I m female and 30 years old. I have some pain and cracking voice in my knee. Dr. Banned for me to take the stairs and sit on the floor. This voice in knee just lije in a old door of iron. In my knee greese are finished means oily material is not there but now in my knees there are rough surface in place of oily surface.dr said that it is osteoporsis or oesteotitis.i hv taken medicine last 5 monrhs but i hv no releif in my knee. N i hv vit. D and calcium deficiency also..so pls guide me that any amvay supplement cn help me...

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that probably you are having early osteoarthritis of knee .It is confirmed by X-ray both knee AP view in standing. Analgesics (DICLOFENAC 100 MG SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) whenever pain is helpful in pain relief. Diacerine and glucosmine sulfate protect cartilage from breakdown and help in cartilage regeneration.Quadriceps exercises is started after pain relief. Serum vitamin D test is advised (if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required). You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
