Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query crackling noise in ear seems to be due to Eustachian tube dysfunction, ear wax accumulation and otitis media. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper examination and discuss the above mentioned possibilities. Doctor may clean the ear to remove ear wax or prescribe antibiotics for at least 10 days along with decongestants. Doctor should also give proper treatment for cold and flu , because these can be contributing factors in causing ear infection. Keep you ears dry , cover them while bathing and keep warm compresses on external ear 2-3 times a day , it will evaporate water from ear .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
