What Causes Coughing Up Of Yellow Mucus Post Head Injury?
I was in a car accident early sunday morning and hit my head. There is obvious bruising and cuts form the head injury. Shortly after i began coughing up yellow mucus, along with it dripping from my nose. I have recently just gotten over the flu but wasnt sure of the bright yellow and watery mucus. Could this be a serious issue?

Yello mucus from nose indicates sinusitis and can be treated with antibiotics.
But if there is associated draining of thin clear fluid, this needs immediate evaluation to look for CSF leak from brain.
