What Causes Cough With Throat And Chest Burning And A Tonsil Lump?

Hello, today I have started to have a bad cough. When I cough my throat and upper chest burn. I looked inside my mouth earlier and saw a large white lump on my right tonsil I m assuming. I ve been googling, and have come to the conclusion that the lump may be a tonsil stone. Do you have any answeres as to why my chest and throat may be burning when I cough? I have no other symptoms except a little fatigue. I m going to make an appointment with my dr tomorrow but id just like a little piece of mind if possible. Thanks so much

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having acute follicular tonsillitis producing and collection of pus in tonsillar fold.
go for one antibiotic medicine like Azithromicin for 5 days.
Do antiseptic or warm water gargles.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
