What Causes, Cough, Sore Throat, Headache And Breathing Difficulty?

Hi. I woke up this morning with a sore throat and mild cough. As the day went on, I began experiencing a throbbing headache, coughing so hard I can t breathe and almost throwing up, feeling weak, exhaustion, and chest pain. It feels worse than a common cold, so I wanted to see what other possibilities may be.

Hi,

thank you for providing the brief history of you,

A thorough respiratory assessment is guided.

As mentioned by you in the history, i feel it is upper respiratory tract infection, which will subside in time, you can just do steam inhalation and also breathing exercises.

As, due to upper respiratory tract infection, the body is trying to fight against it by producing more mucous so the infection get expectorated from mouth. Also, due to infection, the lungs needs humidification. Due to less oxygen in the body and the whole physiology is acting towards the infection, the oxygen supply to other tissues to the body including the brain is reduced which will lead to headaches. As breathing exercises and steam inhalation helps in most cases. If post 72 hours you still feel the persistent of the symptoms than the symptomatic cough syrup or medicine will be allotted by the physician for 7 days and that is all about it.

I wish to see you in good recovery.
