What Causes Cough, Fever, Runny Nose, Stomach Upset And Dizziness?

I ve had a fever, slight cough, stuffy nose, and upset stomach- normal cold stuff. Lately a bit lethargic, so I had been laying on couch for a bit, when I got up I felt dizzy like when I m normally I ll, but my vision also flashed purple tinted, it was like I had violet glasses appear then disappear a second later. This seems very odd and has never happened to me before, it feels worrisome.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These signs can be of atypical pneumonia or respiratory tract infection so baseline blood work up with blood counts and inflammatory markers and chest X-ray may be needed. Treatment would be with antibiotics, anti histamines and analgesics.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
