Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough and shortness of breath after inhaling bleach fumes which occur mainly due to response of body to volatile bleach contents, which can be poisonous as it contains volatile organic compounds.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult general physician for proper examination without any delay and rule out condition like poisoning. Doctor may prescribe anti emetic drug to exhale contents. Doctor may prescribe antihistamine along with steroid injection. You should take some fresh air and drink plenty of water and milk.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
