What Causes Cough And Itchy Rashes On The Arms And Legs?

Hello, I recently was sick (head cold/flu) and along with my symptoms I had a lot of mucus/phlegm that has been going on for two weeks that I have been coughing thick clear mucus. Not sure if this has anything to do with my recent sickness, but I have an itchy rash on my arms, legs, and stomach that just started today.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The rash seems to be related to an allergic reaction.

In my opinion, it is not related to the flu that you have passed weeks ago.

I suggest you take antihistamines daily such as Levocetirizine.

I also suggest you use Calamine lotion for local application.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
