What Causes Cough Along With Nose Bleeds After Taking Prednisone?
My nephew has been diagnosed with waking pneumonia and an eye infection. He started 60 mg. prednisone and a z-pack. His nose started profusely bleeding and he has a horrible cough. Can the prednisone cause the nose bleeds or is this something different?

Prednisone rarely causes nose bleeding. Pinch his nose tightly and take drugs like Tranexemic acid to control bleeding. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
