All the symptoms you have mentioned suggestive of ARI (Acute
respiratory tract infection) it could be a viral infection with superimposed bacterial one.
I suggest you to consult a general physician and get the following things done:-
1.A short course of antibiotics for five to seven days may be started emperically.
2.You can take a course of flu medicines like
oseltamivir.
3.Get basic blood and urine investigations done.
4.A peripheral smear to rule out malaria and
widal test to rule out typhoid might be needed.
5.You can take
acetaminophen for pain and fever.
6.Antihistamines and nasal decongestants would provide symptomatic relief.
7.Do warm saline gargles and gargling with a
chlorhexidine containing mouth wash.
Most cases improve with timely treatment and complications are very unlikely .
