What Causes Continuous Itching In Anus?
my sons had a VERY itcy anal for over a year, he said he took a look and noticed black spots (dots). He also said that when he puts the shower nozzle there with hot water relieves the itch. He cant quit scratching. I exclaimed hemoroids to him and he said he nows what a roid is. Hes 23 years old. Hes freaking out he thinks hes got some sort of cancer!!! some kind of answer would be great please, and thank you

Your symptoms are seemed to be related to hemorrhoids. Some advice that I can give to you is:
- Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone.
- Use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
- Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day.
