What Causes Constipation With Pain In All Over The Body?
I have been severely constipated for almost a week straight now. I was told it was impacted. The pain level is at an excruiating level now...and I have tried: decusote calcium, max strength ex-lax, lactulose, milk of magnesia mixed with prune juice. Nothing is helping me and the pain is increasing all over my body. I also haven't eaten in many days. What should I do?

Severe constipation failing to respond to various medications for a week need urgent attention.
Purgative enema and/or stimulant suppository is must in such severe condition.
If this also fails then it mandates manual removal of stool under short anesthesia.
