What Causes Constipation With A Back Injury?

Hello. I have a back injury in the lower left side (between 2-3 L) I have been given exercises to feel better, but my left leg is still numb to the knee. The biggest problem now is constipation. I also have a spastic colon, but I haven't been to the bathroom (naturally) in a month. Now, cleansing teas are not working.. What can I do or who can I see? Thank you!

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is because of the injury to spinal nerve innervated to rectum descending colon then function of defecation would be impaired then physiotherapy would be only way you have, without complete clinical examination and studying the image report difficult to say anything exactly, better to have a word with the doctor for prognosis, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
