What Causes Constant Twitching In Lower Legs?

Hi, for a couple of months, I have noticed that in both of my lower legs there is a constant twitching of several muscles between the ankle and the knee on both legs. It does not cause any pain or discomfort, they just twitch. When I flex my leg muscles, the twitching stops. When my leg is relaxed. The muscles twitch. Is this a serious problem? thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Twitching of muscles is mainly due to calcium deficiency.
Take calcium supplements in the form of tablets along with calcium rich foods like milk.
Your symptoms should gradually subside.
