What Causes Constant Stomach Pain In A Child?

My son is 3.7 years now, He had a stomach pain from last week, we went to doctor and he gave Nutrilin B dry syrup. By unknowingly i gave a syrup which is already at home that is mixed with water earlier. And it is not expired one, usually Nurilin B dry syrup should be used before 1 week after mixing with water. I am full tensed, Is there is any side effects from that.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
If you have given an expired syrup, but has been preserved properly, should not cause much side effect. Even if it causes, it might manifest mainly I'm the form of GI disturbances.
Kindly give good quantity of fluids to minimize any such effects and it can be symptomatically treated.
To overcome stomach ache which your child is complaining of, it would be better to do deworming by administering a dose of Syrup. Albendazole. Also, kindly continue with the medication what your doctor has prescribed appropriately.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
