What Causes Constant Soreness In The Lower Calves?

The past two days my two calves feel as if I had gone through heavy exercise and suffering from lactic acid. However, I did no real exercise. I went to the hospital today and the sonogram showed no clots, etc. and the blood tests showed nothing unusual. I was given an IV for rehydration and it had some good effect. At the moment I still have some soreness in my lower calves occasionally but not as anywhere as bad as earlier today. Is it possible that having two meals of genuine Indian food with all of their exotic spices have been of possible cause?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the Indian food is not responsible for sore calves, but possible deficiency of trace elements as zinc, copper, magnesium or else is responsible for the same.

* Excess consumption of nicotine or tobacco may also flare up the issue via receptor action over muscles.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
