What Causes Constant Pressure And Plugged Ears With Hearing Difficulty?

Both my ears always feel plugged and I have difficulty hearing. I was examined by an ear specialist and he said there was no pressure difference on either side of the eardrum. He said my eustacian tubes were fine. I think it might have something to do with my CPAP machine. I use nose pillows and the machine sends a constant flow of air up my nose while I sleep. I feel the situation has got a lot worse since I started using the CPAP machine. I can t get rid of the pressure sensation in both ears. The specialist said I had damage to the inner ear nerves.
