I have had pain under my right lower rib cage for about three years now. Had my gall bladder taken out three months ago but no relief has been achieved in the pain. I am a 58 yo male and have been a beer drinker most of my adult life, probably about two six packs a week. Any idea what might be causing the pain. The surgeon that removed my gall bladder said my liver look okay. CT, MRI, and ultrasounds have all showed nothing. The only reason my gall bladder was removed was because it was only functioning at 28 percent which the surgeon said was less than normal.
