What Causes Constant Pain In The Right Arm?

I am having constant pain in my right . . . there is a throb in my forearm and in my upper arm. Although I can lift it, It is difficult to maneuver in and out of clothes or reach behind me. I have noticed that when I lie down on my left side, my right arm hurts even more and it is very painful to move.
