you are 72 years old and your problems is high BP. this high BP is probably giving you enlarge heart. If you have high blood pressure, means that your heart has to work harder to push blood round your body. To cope with this extra effort, your heart muscles become thicker and stiffer, which can make the heart become enlarged.
more specific left side of the heart has to work harder to get blood round your body, it is usually this side "LVH" for short. In other words, it is another name for an enlarged heart.

this enlarge HEART can give you pain too because dis balance between hypertrophic cardiac muscles and angiogenesis. leads to ischemic or infraction.
if you feel chest pain that lasts more than a few minutes
You have severe difficulty breathing
You have severe, recurring lightheadedness or lose consciousness
If you experience mild shortness of breath or other symptoms, such as palpitations, see your doctor.

you are having very healthy life style so this continuous pain can be from other sources too. best to get diagnosed and exclude the danger source 1st.

I will suggest you to stop your gym n other hard working exercises. till you get diagnosed.
Good thing that you can reverse your enlarge heart with controling BP.

thanks
