What Causes Constant Numbness In Knee?

Have continuos numbness in my left knee, prior to that, one month earlier I had sciatica, Dr. S gave me steroids & ibuprofen 800 mg ..since then it s been a month, and I play frisbee almost daily and it is still numb 24/7....and when I sleep sometimes my left arm goes numb frequently... I have to switch sides to sleep, I am concerned that water on the knee might be the problem, and the arm issues also A concern... My age is 54 , smoker & occasional drinker.... Any advice?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, you have stated three conditions here which are may not be related with each other, like sciatica, knee pain, and arm numbness, for the sciatica it is all depends upon the severity, if it is not that much severe then it would be fine, for the knee pain you have to take care for not to bend it, for the arm numbness try to maintain good posture, else this is nothing to worry, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
